    Born on 30.08.1969. Dr. Vijay Kumar Dahiya completed his graduation from Hindu College, Sonepat, Haryana and then pursued law (LL.B) from Delhi University from the year 1990-1993. Completed his LL.M and Ph.D from Kurukshetra University, Haryana.

    Joined Delhi Judicial Services as Additional District Judge in the year 2008, and, thereafter, held several positions. He also served as, Additional Sessions Judge, Special Judge (CBI), Additional District Judge (DDA & MCD), Additional District Judge (LAC), Presiding Officer (MACT), Judge In-charge (Mediation) and Principal Judge, Family Court.

    Took charge as Principal District & Sessions Judge (West), Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi from 02.05.2026 to 05.10.2026.

    Presently posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, New Delhi District, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi w.e.f. 05.10.2026.
